The latest edition of Harry Potter –
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is currently making waves in the city of
Accra at the Silverbird cinemas. Many movie fans keep trouping to the cinemas every
day since the movie started showing over the weekend.
Silverbird Ghana currently tops the box
office chart across East and West Africa beating all competitors including
Lagos and Nairobi where movie culture, just a few months ago before the introduction
of Silverbird in Accra, was much more entrenched than it was in Ghana.
Silverbird Ghana has certainly come to deliver quality entertainment and
Ghanaians are more than excited to embrace the revolution.
It is very gratifying to see the kids
of Harry Porter Fame mature into young adults and doing things in more mature
ways including romantic love brewing among them.
“We are happy to see our numerous
audiences gripping the edge of their seats when seeing our movies. That is the
kind of quality entertainment and satisfaction that Silverbird is committed to
offering its customers. We show our movies the same time they start showing in
all first rate cinemas across the globe” said Brooke Nuwati, Media Relations
Officer for Silverbird Ghana.
This is a must-watch movie and you can
better judge which is the best Harry Porter movie ever made and why so many
people including families, friends and corporate bodies are filling the seats
at the Silverbird cinemas every day. Harry Potter
and the Half-Blood Prince is fast, cutting, and will have you gripping the edge of your seat, in
an incredibly shocking and tragic climax.
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is a 2009 fantasy-adventure film based on the novel Harry Potter and the
Half-Blood Prince by J. K. Rowling. It is the sixth film in the Harry Potter
film series. It is directed by David Yates, the director of the fifth film, Harry
Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. David Heyman and David Barron produced
the film. What makes Half-Blood Prince top-tier is the
descent of darkness on the lives of the characters. The unseen Lord Voldemort
cooks up fresh hell by planning to have Harry's archrival, the blond, bullying
Draco Malfoy, kill wise old Professor Dumbledore. And then there's slithery
Severus Snape (the great Alan Rickman) making a deal to protect Draco. All the
actors excel at pulling us into the film's mysteries. Radcliffe's growing
maturity as Harry gives the role a touching gravity. His scenes with Dumbledore
exude ferocity and emotion.
