Samsung to sponsor Kotoko
Sammy Heywood Okine , 30/11/2006

Kumasi Asante Kotoko is to benefit from a sponsorship package from the international electronic giants, Samsung Company.

Kwame Baah-Nuako, the Communications Director of Kotoko, who confirmed the deal to The Statesman yesterday, however declined to disclose details of the package, adding that details of the package were yet to be finalised between the two partners.

Mr Baah-Nuako, said the meeting had been scheduled for Germany, where the sponsorship deal would be signed.

He, therefore, assured Kotoko supporters to rally behind the club, as the Porcupine Warriors would always continue to "ride high in Ghana football".

Samsung, an electronic appliance company, is very popular with their sponsorship programme of English Premiership club, Chelsea.
